The CBA, part of the educational experience promoted by the MIUR of Alternance School Work, welcomes students from local schools who have requested it, contributing to the training and orientation of students

He proposes personalized information Literacy courses: "Media and informational competence consists of knowledge, attitudes, and all the skills necessary to recognize when and what kind of information is needed; where and how to get that information; how to critically evaluate it and organize it once it is found; and how to use it in an ethical way”

In the route design you will see the following general objectives

• acquisition of skills related to the management and organization of the structure and documentary collection of an academic library
• deepening of the services and resources that the library offers to users;
• development of an Information Literacy path to develop the necessary information skills
• design and realization, in a cooperative way, on a writers' or multimedia medium of a cultural product.

The following skills will develop:

• Be able to report on how to organize and manage a library;
• To become aware of the importance of library work for carrying out research activities;
• to be able to operate in an editorial context
• to be aware of peculiar aspects of editorial activity

Through different activities, including :

• study and support to the activities of library operators in the reception of users ( back office activities)
• implementation of documentary bibliographic survey processes.

The CBA also adheres to Libri fuori classe, a project desired and proposed by the Associazione Italiana Editori (AIE), together with the Associazione Librai Italiani(Ali Confcommercio) and the Associazione Italiana Biblioteche (AIB) under the auspices of the Centro per il libro e la lettura. Libri Fuori-Classe aims to support schools and sector operators, providing simple and innovative tools, useful to activate Alternanza Scuola Lavoro projects (School-Work Alternation processes) which allows girls and boys to learn the world of book and to prepare for a work experience in a publishing company, in bookshop or library.
