Universities SHARE (Scholarly Heritage and Access to Research) is the platform for accessing library services shared by the Universities of:

Naples Frederick II
Naples The Oriental
Naples Parthenope
Salerno
Samnium
Basilicata
Campania "L. Vanvitelli"
Naples "Sister Orsola Benincasa"
Salento
The libraries of these universities offer:

the collective catalog in linked open data (SHARE Catalogue);
the federated search system (information discovery), for integrated access to the respective analogue and digital collections (SHARE Discovery);
common platforms for open access digital publishing (SHARE Press), for publishing journals (SHARE Journals), electronic books (SHARE Books), products, research data and historical documentation (SHARE Open Archive);
the mutual recognition of the respective institutional users as internal users for the purpose of accessing consultation, lending and other services provided at the respective offices.
The initiative was born as part of the 2013-2015 three-year planning: the universities signed an inter-university agreement and a Charter of library and documentary services aimed at enhancing both the supply of information and documents and support for research and teaching by focusing on interinstitutional cooperation.
